Hello from Denae. Today, in Northern CA…it is beautiful. I took my dogs to the beach to toss the ball and let them run. I found myself, later…walking with my chin down When I “caught myself” I took my “chunk it stick” (a long stick with a cup on the end which hold a tennis ball so you can throw tennis balls very long distances…its a girl thing..as I have a girl throw). Anyway, I used the stick, and placed it behind my head, where your skull curves into your neck. Instantly, my chin came back, my chin lifted upward, and most importantly…my breast lifted up. It made me realize, that everyone reverts back to their old way of moving and speaking. With all my years of run-way experience, and pageants…I was really surprised I could so easily return to the way, I walked as a 13 yr old girl…who felt she was to tall and very ugly. Most importantly, my bust lifted up. When, we lead with our chin down and forward…it sinks our chest inward. So, girls find a stick and lift your chin, and lift your breasts when walking. Men, DO walk with their chin leading. So, even in guy mode…when you catch yourself walking heavy, leaning forward, dropping your weight forward and down into your feet, or when you catch yourself “pushing” insteading of “pulling in” your arms, hands, legs, feet, and chin…make a mental note, and once again…catch yourself. In time, you will learn, how to walk in a feminine way….but as I just explained, women have to always work on their movement, voice and general appearance. Oh, such hard work being a girl, but what great fun. I love being a girl. Didn’t Cindi Lauper sing that?

By, allowing your thoughts to “race” you will naturally fall back into your male way of moving and speaking.

Silence Your Major Critic

We look into the mirror in the morning and think, “You look terrible!”. Throughout the day our internal self critic is continually yelling at us,
“You Idiot”
“You have no self control!”
“You’re Useless”
“Can’t you do anything right?”
Often the things we say to ourself are far worse than anything we would ever say to anyone else! An important part of achieving success in life is developing a positive self-image and a strong sense of self-esteem.
A great way to do this is to create an “I AM” board. Here’s how it works…
Find a quiet spot, sit down with a pen and paper and write down the things you see as your best qualities. This may be difficult at first because we are often not used to thinking positively about ourselves.
If you are stuck, think about the different roles you have in life eg. Mother, sister, friend etc. Also include your talents and the things you enjoy doing. Your finished “I AM” board should look something like this:
When you finish your “I AM” board, put it somewhere you will see it regularly like next to your bathroom mirror or on the back of the bathroom door.
As you read your “I AM” statement each morning, you will find that your inner self-critic will begin to lose his or her voice. Your self-image will steadily improve and you will gain more confidence to go after your dreams.
This Week’s Action Steps
(1) Find a quiet spot and at the top of a blank sheet of paper write, “I AM”
(2) Write down a list of your best attributes and character traits
(3) Put your “I AM” board somewhere you will see it regularly and read it everyday
(4) Be aware of your inner self-critic and everytime you hear his or her voice, reject the negative thought and focus on who you really are.

Sally Hanson Body Spray
Tuesday, March 16th, 2010Hello All; So many of you have emailed me, interested in the instant wash off color tint, for your skin. It is by Sally Hanson, but I made a small mistake. It is spray makeup for your face and body. This is GREAT stuff ladies. If you want a tan for one night, or if you have discolorations on your chest or hands, just spray it on and rub it out. Comes out with soap and water, with no tale tale signs of orange streaking tannning lotion. I am trying, it just on my face…as a very light foundation. I will let you know how it goes!! Give it a try, just be sure and find a color that is close to your color or one color darker for a tan. Blend it into your hands and feet. Take a wash cloth and wash your hands and knees gently, and presto! Freckles, age spots, or pale white skin…Gone. I love, L O V E this product!
However, use a sun screen to not burn. Now, get some shorts on, or a wrap around sarong, and come to the beach here in Santa Cruz and have a California Girl Tan!
Voice Training & Michael Jackson Music

Many of you may not know, but I suggest my serious CD clients….sing along with Michael Jackson music, in their cars. MJ created a perfect 200 Pitch, which is the ideal range for a Female voice. Regardless of what you have heard about MJ–he was one of you. How people could not see it, is surprising to me. The makeup, the hair, wigs, and wanting to have a baby. He was truly female inside. He was passionate in his life, and he loved his children, and he could dance better than any woman!
Get A CD of his, and hum the music…to find the vocal cord. in the BACK of your throat as this helps you speak (and sing) from the MIDDLE of your throat.
A must, is to purchase his last DVD “”This Is It.” This is the dress rehearsal, two days before he died. # 13 is fabulous to watch, his moves are very feminine. He walks with a girl, wearing High Heel Shoes, and he helps HER to walk! He is fabulous. Also, watch the Special Effects at the end, they are 3D. This would have been the only live show, with the special effects, screens, lighting and sound…to this level. But, mostly…. I watch his moves, his hands, he has the most wonderful movement, any woman or androgenous type guy could ever want. What a talent. What a special human being. A great tip, for pale skin. I have fair skin, and I have tried every product on the market, from tanning beds, to tanning lotion. Most of the tanning sprays or lotion, tend to streak and turn orange. But, I have found a product I love, it washes off in the shower…and will only last one day or until you wash it off. Look for Sally Hanson Leg Spray, at your local drug store. The colors are buff for fair light skin ( also great to cover any discolorations on your chest, arms, legs, and even with a sponge on your face) to Medium or Dark. This product willl give you color and even out your skin tones, while giving you a light, medium or dark tan. Just be sure to wash your hands. But no worry, it will come off as soon as you need it off!
So, get out your shorts, or swim suits and tan your legs, arms, chest! Denae
Cross Dressers With Large Pores

Recently, I was working with a new client, who was a Cross Dresser. Many CD’s have large pores….as men do have larger pores, than women. Often hormones closes the large pores. However, for most CDs….hormones are not an option nor are they interested. The base (foundation) you use…is very important for large pores. Foundations and powders pool in the crevices, highlighting the wrinkles and large pores you’re hoping to conceal.
My suggestion: Look for a foundation with a touch of silicone (if you’re not applying primer first). Try Smashbox High Definition Healthy FX Foundation SPF 15 ($38, sephora.com). “The silicone helps it move with skin and sit on top of fine lines,” according to Wed MD. Apply foundation with a damp sponge, and press gently to keep it from sinking into creases and use wrinkle–filling concealer on any still-bothersome lines. Try Avon Anew Wrinkle Zone Line Smoothing Duo ($12, avon.com), which pairs a lightweight concealer with a separate loose powder you dab on to hold the coverage in place. Also, the Breast Form Store (for TG purchases) has a siliconn Gel Foundation. Call their 800 number, for additional help with selecting your shade, light, medium or dark. This product is a light silicon Gel, with a small amount of tint….for a very natural look…but is not a foundation.
If your looking for a heavier foundation, I like to use a liquid Silicon primer, first with any foundation. SmashBox silicon primer gives me a fresh, more dewey look for summer.

Medical Tape, To Pull Back Your Face (skin and/or wrinkles)
Friday, March 5th, 2010Hi; Another great tip, on products I use. Often, I like to pull back a clients facial and/or neck skin. IF you wear a wig, this is a perfect hidden tip…you can use…as it is hidden under your wig! Just purchase a simple wig cap as they are only (99 cents at any beauty supply, but not found at a drug store). A wig cap also keeps your wigs clean.
Pull off about 3 inches of tape, and place your starting side of the tape….to stick/hold onto where you have pulled back and up your facial skin…and then pull it, behind your first ear…pull to see how much pull of the skin…you can get in one piece of tape. Pull it up and over onto the wig cap as you press it down hold the tape down. I like to place two pieces over each other, so it is double strong…so do this twice…on each side of the face and neck.
I found of thie tape at a local drug store…such as Walgreens or Longs. It looks like scotch tape. It is by NEXCARE….FLEXIBLE CLEAR TAPE. This is very simple. Pull any excess skin up and start pressing it down..after pulling your skin back…hold the end…. where it will not show from under your wig. No oil, so tape does not lift. Pull the tape up, up and around onto the top of your wig cap. Now, go to the other ear, and repeat.
For your neck, you can pull your neck skin back, tape it and pull it around to the middle back of your neck. Do this twice, on top of the first piece of tape. Repeat on the other side. Presto, you look ten years younger, and more feminine. If you have to wear a wig, at least taping to the wig cap itself…is the one positive for wearing a wig.
If you do not wear a wig, you can pull your neck skin back, (but not facial) behind your ear and pull over to the middle of the neck. Apply another piece, so you’re double taped. Now, repeat on the other side of ear. Pull your hair down in the back….to cover the tape on the back of your neck!
This is not hard, many of you are afraid of trying this. It is very easy, and very inexpensive. And, now with this new medical tape…you don’t have to use wig tape…which IS expensive. So, don’t be shy. Give it a try. It may take a couple of times to really “feel” how tight…you can PULL the tape over. Again, no oil or foundation or the tape will lift. Instant face lift!! Instant neck lift. Again, locate a Beauty SUPPLY not a salon, as they have all types of hair, wig accessories. Buy several wig caps, as they are very inexpensive, and they keep the oil off your clean wig!
Wigs are finally in again, with the Hollywood crowd. Have fun, with wearing them for special outings!

Try This New GEL. For Your Summer Foundation
