Basic Guidelines To Follow To Select The Perfect Bag

Hello Girls, It is summer here in Santa Cruz…I live in an ocean resort town. The weather here in Northern CA is about 75 during the day, and all the girls are out in brightly colored summer skirts, tops, handbags and sunglasses. Okay, okay…I confess…my newest fetish is a colorful handbag! And, I love the bright colors that are used in most of the designer or high-end bags. Of course, I like to purchase my colored bags…at a discount price.
Friday afternoon, I found myself lost in a dream, as I was looking for handbags in a small Santa Cruz store, filled with replica bags. I had been told about this store, from my girl friends, who are over the top crazy… for fashion items at a discount.  I was spinning…all these items are discounted replica sun-glasses, purses, wallets to match…all knock offs of Prada, Co Co, and every high end designer item…which is normally hundreds of dollars more. I realized how difficult it was to choose the perfect bag for each of our body shapes, as I was looking through the 5 discount replica handbags I had selected. So, girls…here goes with my suggestions when it comes to the more colorful designer handbags for your body shape!
For the TG woman, who often has larger upper arms/shoulders or who is tall…wearing the correct style of handbag is just as important as the cut of your clothes. The wrong handbag can make or break your look, making your shoulders look larger or making you look taller.
Also, your handbag can either take pounds off your figure or add to it, depending on its size, shape, color, and where it falls.
Nothing is more aging or unflattering than the wrong bag for our body! Just as you would consider the style and cut of your clothes, so should you think about the size and shape of your handbag…and if the color blends with what you’re wearing. Bags can be used to draw the eyes away from the parts of your body you want to hide, and focus attention on those parts, which you consider to be your assets. A purse or shoulder bag can also lift an outfit, updating it, changing its look and giving it a new sense of style. Not all women realize that a handbag…these days…is not so much a “fashion” accessory as a “necessary” accessory to a great outfit. There are the oversized ones, small ones, slouchy ones, pouchy ones, round ones, rectangular ones, and widgy ones. The type and length of the handles are also a consideration. With so many shapes and sizes to choose from, which style should you choose?
Select The Right Bag For Your Body Type
Many TG women worry about large shoulders as they often create large breasts to balance out their shoulders. I suggest you avoid carrying short-handled bags that finish around the bust area, as this only serves to accentuate the size of your upper body. Go for a longer length finishing around your middle, or a clutch purse, which is carried in your hands. Many of your have studied my Vol 1 DVD on Feminine Movement for the TG women, where I demonstrated purses, and how to take the purse off your shoulder. IF the strap in very short…it is almost impossible to remove the purse off your shoulder. I have this problem also, and my arms are long. When I tried on the smaller strap bags…I could not remove the purse…from my shoulder…without looking silly. Since, most all the new bags have the shorter strap…I suggest you look for one that:
1. Has a longer strap.
2. Has a strap that (like a belt) can be adjusted to your arm length.
3. Select a bag, which also has a handle. Carry the bag, by the handle.
Next, what do you do with your other (free) arm? As I showed in Vol 1—either: swing the free arm down naturally, while locking your thumb around the strap of your purse arm OR fold the fingers of the free arm, bending the free arm upward.
I suggest TG women; avoid carrying a tiny bag, as this only serves to make you look larger. Choose a more tailored bag, which will give definition and for a medium to large size body. Clutch purses are also perfect for you…provided they are oversized. A tiny clutch will only make you look larger. If you feel you’re very tall (and don’t have larger shoulders or upper arms)…then avoid really long skinny-style bags. Counterbalance your figure with something…such as Hobo, slouchy style.
Of course, I have always told you…. to purchase a high quality leather black or brown “basic” bag for everyday wear. But, do try a bright color this summer, to wear with jeans, shorts, or casual.  Today, I am wearing a “red” Prada with a long wrap around sarong in multi colors. Don’t spend a lot, on one of these brightly colored bags, but they can give last season’s clothes, a new look and attitude! And, lastly…it doesn’t matter what color bag your wear, if your not walking with attitude! Please re-visit my DVDs on walking…Hold your chin up, have a fun wiggle in your step, use direct eye contact, and be the first one to say Hello. Let your body language match your “attitude” and new colorful purse! Now, get out there and strut your stuff!
